A walk in the park

After taking some pictures of Yukino in the veranda yesterday, we went to a park for her first afternoon outdoor.

The destination was the Citadel Park in Ghent. It was quite calm for a Saturday. The passers-by could slow down the pace to take a better look at Yukino, but no one really got in the way. There was even one lady that complimented her beauty. The proud mom here was in the clouds!

You will notice that I am not really keen with the wig. Her hair was pretty much covering her cute face all the time. Hairstyling has already been added to my “things to improve” list.

As it was first time outside, I made sure she had her teddy rabbit with her all the time. She did not feel alone this way.

The hours passed very fast! It was an afternoon of discoveries and adventures for both model and photographer. I must say that I thought I was going to feel weird by taking pictures of a doll(fie) in public. I never felt this way though. Once I took her out of bag and placed her by the tree for the pose, I did not think about anything else anymore.

I would like to thank flan_man for his patience, support and great ideas. Arigatoo gozaimasu!

You brave person taking the dollfie out for pictures in public so fast. I have yet to do so myself. Although I done it before with figures but a dollfie it’s a whole other story for me.

As for the hair there is always that Volks hair spray they sell. In theory though if you keep grooming the wig you should be able to get rid of the frizz eventually.

I couldn’t wait any longer. I need practice and I wanted her to enjoy the outdoors before winter arrives. 😉
